BSA Consulting is a boutique strategy consulting firm to the Financial Services sector. Working with FTSE 100 clients, we assist in the definition of corporate, product and servicing strategies and subsequent implementation. We also frequently partner with the major strategy houses to further develop recommendations to define tangible implementation of strategic tenets.
BSA Consulting was founded in 2009 by Ian Holt and operates with a core of Associates. We have a client-led approach to bringing simplicity, clarity and ensuring explicit deliverables from strategic reviews.
Our Approach
We have a clear, simple approach to ensure speedy definition and communication of deliverables. We phase our activity into tight, well-defined outputs. Our clients can clearly, quickly, see our deliverables and are then free to decide whether further support is required based upon the previous phase's outputs and quality of deliverables.
Strategy Definition
We have many years' experience of corporate strategy (companies' direction and desire within their existing market place, or whether to enter new markets), product strategy (profitability, pricing, peer/market reviews), and servicing strategy (cost of operations/cost reduction activity, change of focus to enable service differentiation).
Insurance & Retail Banking
We work only in Financial Services, and have supported a range of FTSE100, FTSE 250 and start-up clients. We have management experience across all elements of General (Personal and Commercial lines), Life and Asset Management for global Insurers. We have management experience of UK, European and global retail banks.
Initiative Definition and Implementation
One of our core strengths is turning intent into defined programmes of activity, with a fully defined portfolio of activities. This includes completing business cases (costs, investments, resources), defining objectives and deliverables, defining the overall programme structure (workstreams and leaders) and project deliverables, all mapped to ensure the initiative as a whole is delivered
